August 29, Hw #8, Deadline Reflection Assignment

Really everything that was covered in the first two chapters of the reading was helpful for me. It has been a while since I have taken a writing class. In the first chapter it mentioned that you need to make sure the technical information you provide is accessible, usable, and relevant to your audience. This helped me this week by just getting me in the mind set of adjusting my writing for my audience. In this class we will be communicating through email and through exchange so this is a very important to understand. Before preparing technical information I am going to spend more time thinking about these points.
Also in chapter two the Audience Analysis Worksheet really lays it all out. It helps you prepare questions you need to know about audience, purpose, and context when preparing technical information. This will be useful for me in future class projects or for communication purposes in my career.
